The estate

On the right bank of Bordeaux, where most of estates do not exceed 10 hectares, Troplong Mondot boasts one of the largest estates in the Saint-Émilion appellation. Founded in 1700, the Premier Grand Cru Classé Château Troplong Mondot produces one of the most beloved wines of Saint-Émilion.

The vineyard

Planted at an altitude of 110 metres, the Château Troplong Mondot vineyard covers 43 hectares in one piece. The vineyard is entirely managed by sustainable viticulture. The vines, aged 30 years on average, are planted in clay-limestone soils typical of the Saint-Émilion appellation.

The blend

The Château Troplong Mondot 2020 is made from a blend of Merlot (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (13%) and Cabernet Franc (2%).

Full-bodied and beautifully fresh, the 2020 Château Troplong Mondot seduces with its precision and radiance, which make it one of the most beautiful references in Saint-Émilion.
